Mechanical anti-loosening
Mechanical anti-loosening refers to the use of stop elements between the threaded pair to prevent relative rotation. It has good reliability and is widely applied.
The methods of mechanical anti-loosening are as follows:
Stop ring
Round nut and stop ring: The inner tongue of the special stop ring for round nuts is inserted into the pre-drilled slot of the screw, while one of the outer wings bends into the corresponding slot of the round nut to prevent relative rotation.
Common nut and stop ring: The common nut is fixed on the connected component using the stop ring, and at the same time, the nut is constrained to ensure that it does not rotate. It should be noted that the bolt must also not rotate simultaneously to achieve effective anti-loosening.
The opening pin is used in conjunction with the hexagonal slotted nut.
After tightening the hexagonal slotted nut, insert the opening pin into the pre-drilled slot of the nut and the pre-drilled tail hole of the bolt. Then, twist the pin tail to prevent relative rotation.
Used for connections with vibration and impact.
Lag bolt group connected by steel wires
The steel wires are inserted into the small holes at the heads of each lag bolt and tightened. Pay attention to ensuring that the direction of the torque provided by the steel wires is the same as the tightening torque. In this way, when the screws show a tendency to loosen, the steel wires will be further tightened to prevent loosening.
