Railway bolts

Railway bolts are the key connecting components of the railway track structure, mainly used for fixing the rails, sleepers and various components, ensuring the safety and smoothness of train operation. The following are the main types and technical features:
Rail joint bolts
Also known as fishtail bolts, they are used for tightening the connection between the rail and the fishtail plate. They are divided into two types: ordinary and high-strength (8.8 grade, 10.9 grade). Their special design (such as elliptical convex neck) can prevent rotation during tightening. The material must meet the requirement of tensile strength ≥ 1040 MPa.
Rail sleeper screws
Made of manganese alloy or carbon steel, they are used to connect the rail sleeper to the ballast, bearing the pressure from the wheels and transmitting it to the foundation. Daily maintenance requires checking the tightening status by using a tapping hammer, and the number of times one can bend over in a single operation can exceed 1600 times.
Fasten the bolt
It is used for template fixation. The threaded design at both ends enables adjustment of the template spacing, ensuring the structural stability during concrete pouring. The 8.8-grade high-strength bolts have a tensile strength of up to 400 MPa, and the 10.9-grade can reach 1000 MPa. It is widely used in tunnel, bridge and other engineering projects.
