Proper use of slotted nut :
Core principle : slotted nut must be used together with bolts with holes and locked by cotter pins to prevent nuts from loosening.
Procedure :
Screw the slotted nut onto the perforated bolt with the same thread.
Screw the nut slot into the bolt hole.
Insert the cotter pin into the bolt hole through the nut slot to secure the bolt and the slotted nut.
Precautions :
